Infants
Children enter the infant stage sometime following their second birthday. Learning is continued through structured and planned free play sessions.

The children's language development is continued and they have access to both group and individual learning opportunities.
There are times for creative, tactile, role play and construction toys as well as activities to enhance their finer manipulative skills such as cutting, collage, gluing, painting and writing.
Children are encouraged to become independent and responsible for their own needs such as washing toileting and dressing.
Learning letter sounds, counting and number recognition are included in the broad curriculum with children enjoying learning in a variety of different ways.
Included in these are music and songs, rhymes, as well as creative and physical activities.
Computer familiarity also enhances their learning as well as puzzles, practical number, cooking and knowledge and understanding of the world around them.
On turning three children move on to the Foundation Stage and the activities prior to this make it an easy transition.
With good basic skills and in the knowledge that they in a caring, loving and safe environment the children progress very naturally into the Pre-School.
