Our Garden
Barnesmead has a large rear garden which has undergone a recent major renovation.
The new garden has been designed to maximise the space giving children across the age range the opportunity for constructive, physical and sensory play.The areas include:
- Safety surfacing
- A construction station
- A pergola
- A pirate ship
- A living willow den
- Large sandpit
- Balancing beams
- Climbing frame
We are currently planning a covered area between the house and the garden to extend the children's outside play opportunities and broaden the curriculum. The children's knowledge and understanding of the world around them will be enhanced and will encourage exploration and discovery.
